Privacy

Last updated November 5, 2026.

There are no accounts, ads or sign-ins. We do not save your questions, and we do not sell them.

Your questions

Your question goes to the AI model on our own computer so it can choose a verse, and then it is discarded. It is not sent to any outside AI company. Your last two questions are sent along with a new one so the model can follow the conversation.

What stays in your browser

Your recent conversation, your version choice and your verse library are stored in your browser on your device. They do not follow you to other devices, and clearing your site data deletes them. Your question is not kept with a saved verse.

How answers improve

When you save a verse or report that it didn't fit, we add to a count for that verse and topic, such as "anxiety." The count contains no question and nothing that identifies you.

Reports

A report keeps the date, the kind of problem, what you wrote and the verse you flagged. It never includes your question. Please leave out personal details. Reports are not read right away, so they are not the way to get urgent help.

Your address and connection

Your internet address is held in memory for about two minutes to limit how fast requests can be sent. We do not write it to a log.

The site reaches you through Cloudflare, which provides the secure connection. Everything you send, including your question, passes through Cloudflare on its way to us, and Cloudflare keeps its own records of visits.

API.Bible

NIV text comes from API.Bible. Our server asks it for a verse by reference and sends nothing you type. When NIV verses are shown, your browser also reports which verses were viewed, as the license requires, using a random device id and session id. Other translations are not reported. See the copyright page.
